Evergreen Biodiesel produces fuel up to ASTM D6751/EN 14214 biodiesel standards, is one of a handful of domestic biodiesel facilities to produce to the European Union biodiesel specifications, and is in the process of completing the National Biodiesel Board's BQ-9000 quality certification program.  The plant is currently in the process of expanding into next-generation feedstocks and processes, including the utilization of camelina oil, and is evaluating the installation of a recycling and processing facility for distressed hydrocarbon streams to convert used motor oil, or black oil, into a refining feedstock or diesel replacement. The company is also evaluating the installation of a Renewable Energy Center to include biomass-to-energy and other green projects at its 78-acre facility.
